Notes: Meinklang farm is set in the middle of an Austrian national park, on the Eastern side of the Neusiedlersee Lake, bordering directly on the Hungarian lowlands. This farm functions much like an organism, relying not only on the people but also on the local herd of cows as well as the fruit orchards and vegetable gardens, meadows of wild herbs and flowers, creating rich biodiversity for their vineyards. This orange wine is from a blend of Pinot Gris, Gewürztraminer, and Welschriesling grown in sandy loam and rocky topsoil. 5-7 day maceration, spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts. Aged 4 months in stainless steel. Unfiltered and unfined.
