Manlio Manganaro 'Terre Siciliane Bianco' 2019

Notes: Manual harvesting of 10 year old vines from a single hectare of land. The grapes are split into two different steel tanks, de-stemmed, and undergoes maceration for two days with the skins, racked off, then added back to the same tank to finish fermentation. The second tank goes through 6 days of full cluster (with stems) carbonic maceration, and is blended with the first tank for another 14 days of maceration. After manual pressing, the wine rests for 8 months in steel tanks before bottling. No fining, filtration, temperature control, or sulfur added at any time.
