Regular price $29.00
Producer: Mani di Luna
- All of our wines are fermented spontaneously.
- Other information: The Mani Di Luna farm is located in historical Torgiano, Umbria where vines have been planted since the time of the Etruscans. At 200-350 meters above sea level, Mani di Luna's 7 hectares grow in sandy soils over sandstone and marl rich in minerals left by the ancient lake Tiberinum. Mani di Luna only focuses on native grape varieties like Sangiovese, Grechetto, Trebbiano, Malvasia, Barbera and Sagrantino. And since 2012, the farm has been certified biodynamic following lunar cycles in agricultural and winemaking processes. This 'Sanjolais' is made with 100% Sangiovese grapes, harvested by hand and crushed with feet. Fermented without temperature control.
