• Other Information: Located in the small Italian village of Oslavia, right on the border of Slovenia, the Prinčič winery was started in 1993 by Dario Prinčič. Due to the nature of the steep landscape of Oslavia and the fragility of the marl and limestone soil, all farm work is done by hand. Prinčič grows his 10 hectares organically and vinifies as naturally as possible in his cellar with no temperature control. This 'Guilia  Bianco' is made from a white blend of hand harvested Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Grigio. Most of these vines are at least 60 years old. Spontaneously fermented in open chestnut vats on skins for 22 days before aging for 24 months in wood. Unfiltered, unfined, with very minimal sulphites added. A beautiful orange color in the glass.
