Notes: Clos du Rouge Gorge is a small winery run by Cyril Fhal. Founded in 2002, it's located in Latour de France, in the Languedoc-Roussillon. Fhal cultivates some 6 hectares of vineyards, which are up to 100 years old, biodynamically and vinifies them according to the philosophy of minimal intervention, accompanying the processes and allowing the grape and the terroir to express themselves fully and finely.

The grapes (80% Syrah, 20% Grenache) for Clos du Rouge Gorge Hors Champ 'Une Vie La Nuit' are harvested manually to respect the grape as much as possible and to select the best bunches to be vinified. They are vinified with native yeasts, and gentle extractions are made at low temperatures. The final wine undergoes a refining ageing on its fine lees in old 500 and 600 litre barrels for a period of 10 to 24 months, depending on the harvest.
