Notes: Daniel and Jonas Brand, the 5th generation winemaking duo behind Brand wines, continue to bring attention to the German region of Pfalz  with their natural wines. Started in 2014 and certified organic since 2017, the brothers use biodynamic practices and go as far as using various soaps, oils, herbs, and teas on the vines. There is minimal filtration in the wines as needed and no animal products are used in the winemaking, so all of the wines are vegan. Clover and wild herbs are planted among the vines to attract bees for fertilization. They also grow vegetables and raise chickens all in an effort to preserve the soil and build up the organic matter in order to have the best fruit to produce the best natural wines. 

Brand ‘Pet Nat’ Rose is made from a hand-harvested blend of 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Portugeiser. There is no fining or filtering used in the making of these wines, and they all use indigenous yeast fermentation. This wine is naturally sparkling as it is bottle before primary fermentation has been completed, which means there are also no additional sugars or other additives.
