The Tellez family farm is located in Tecate, among the rugged mountains of Mexico's Baja California Norte. Winemaking in this region dates all the way back to the conquistadors. And the Tellez family are making energetic and fresh new wines from historic recently recovered vineyards there. 'Bichi' means 'naked' in parts of Northern Mexico, an apt name for these expressive wines. This 'Rosa' is made from a mystery blend of varietals grown on 100 year-old
own-rooted vines. Hand harvested, de-stemmed, and fermented in concrete tinajas 'amphora' then aged in stainless steel. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
